Fonda Yoshimoto-Garner
Fonda was recently selected into the pretigious Phi Beta Kappa honor society--the first UC Davis McNair Scholar to be so honored. She also received the Ellen Hansen Memorial Prize, which is given to those whose art is exceptional and "demonstrates the bravery and independence of women." Her project, "Waking Up: Pieces of the Whole" is a phto essay that depicts her mother's self-treatment for breat cancer.
